Second link to same site shows you who is paying what percentage. The top 5%, if you notice is 153K not 250K as Obama suggests. The top half pays 97.1% of the entire tax burden. This will go to 100% under Obama. In fact, it's expected to go past that since the number paying no federal taxes will increase substantially.

Also, if you don't pay close attention. The Dems are looking at a proposal to enact under Obama. It's currently in committee in the House. That is to eliminate 401Ks. In the sense that there will be a "conversion" option to convert it into a government run program that guarantees you 3% a year. Once program starts, all those who chose not to participate, can still contribute to the "401K" plan. You get NO tax dedcution. It will be completely removed. I don't know about you, but consider once the government has your money, they get to dictate how much you get, when you can get it, everything. They basically control it. It's less liberty and choice for you and more control for them.

And as Biden said on the stump the other day … "we are going to go after their pensions too". In regard to any overpaid executive. This is historic. 401Ks have always been protected under the law. Your creditors can't even touch them. Lawsuits can't touch them. If they fundamentally shift into this mode of going after their 401Ks, guess who's next.

Now, just my comments on this.
Obama has accomplished absolutely nothing in his political career. I've not had one person that can point to one accomplishment. McCain has accomplished many things, whether you like what he's accomplished or not, he's done it.

Obama wants to change our form of government. If he's elected, the government citizen relationship is changed. Our government was founded on the Constitution. It is our basis for the law of the land. The founding fathers intention was to have a small federal government, more power in the states, to limit federal powers so they cannot in essence have a tyrannical form of government, and to ensure everyone has the opportunity for liberty. There is nothing in the Constitution that states people are GUARANTEED to be successful, to have x, y, and z, and to have the government provide them with money, healthcare, and other things. The premise is you have liberty and the opportunity to make yourself into what you want. You take personal responsibility for those actions. It was not intended to be a welfare state where people believe its an entitlement system, taking no responsibility and sticking out their hand to the government.

Obama wants to change this. If the liberals get a majority in the House and Senate(60 seats), and Obama is elected they have free reign over anything that happens. They will nationalize programs. They will spend more money then you or I can even imagine. They will appoint all liberal judges to the Circuit Courts and any openings in the Supreme Court. They will increase taxes on individuals. They will increase taxes on corporations. What happens when a companies taxes (an expense) goes up? To maintain the same profit margins they either pass that cost on to the consumer (you and me) or they decrease expenses (lay off employees). Less payroll taxes, less federal income taxes since those people get layed off. I suppose when one of those people get a $1000 social payment from Obama, are they going to hire a person or start a company? How many poor people do you know that hire people? I don't know of any. Companies hire people. The USA has the 2nd highest corporate tax rate in the world. It's hard to be competitive in those situations. Obama wants to increase federal revenues through taxation. McCain wants to do it through growth and prosperity. More jobs, more federal revenue. You've heard of trickle down economics. This is trickle up poverty. Everyone is going to he pushed together so they are are "equal" in terms of income and class stature

Obama has over 1 Trillion dollars in new spending he wants to implement. We already have a huge deficit (I know and agree Republicans have a lot to do with that). Conservatives believe in less spending and smaller federal government, not all Republicans do. We need to balance our budget and reduce the deficit. Who is going to pay for all this? The tax increase of the top 5% isn't enough to cover it. Where's it going to come from?

Obama was a member of the "New Party". You'll see that in some of the links. This was a socialist party formed in the early 90s. The purpose was to pull together a number of splinter socialist groups. They use a strategy called fusion. That is they embed their candidates as Democrats and have them win some portion of the democratic vote. They add in their votes to put their candidate over the top. You'll see the press releases from the group in the links when Obama won the Illionis Senate Seat in 96. This party was closely affiliated with ACORN. Obama was one of the leaders in ACORN. He taught people who to interrupt banking business, how to put pressure on banks to give loans to low-income families that couldn't afford loans (usually minorities), etc. He was also mentored by someone named Saul Lewinsky (sp?). He wrote a book called "Rules for Radicals". This books is about how to get socialists and communists elected and embedded in the U.S. political system. He talks at great lenghts about class warfare. Specifically, the "middle class". He explains how you need to become one of the middle class, have them accept you. Once that's accomplished, you begin to break them down. You tell them how they haven't quite lived up to their expectations or goals, how through no fault of their own this happened to them, you just break them down. Then you dangle the carrot. The book refers to this as "hope and change". Does that sound familiar? If you read the book you'll see Obama uses rhetoric from this book in his campaign. It is a systematic approach that he's been working on for many years. As far as Bill Ayers goes, he was hired by Ayers to distribute $50 million in federal grant money. He was Obama's employer. They worked together for years doing this, the Woods foundation stuff, and other community activities. He launched his political career at Ayers house with Bernadette Doran (sp?). Both part of the weather underground, both communists, both terrorists. If you look at the list of people Obama associated with during that time, there are a number of well known socialist and communist people involved. Go to the Progressives for Obama website. http://progressivesforobama.net/about/ Research some of the names on that site. You'll see what I mean.

I want to give you a more personal example of how this will work. Imagine your daughter is in school, let's say 11th grade. She's taking advanced placement classes, she studies, does her homework, etc. She gets all As. A 4.0 GPA. Her friend, takes easier courses, doesn't study, goes out and parties or whatever. She gets all Ds. A 1.0 GPA. If you believe in redistribution wealth and socialism, then you'd suggest that your daughter and her friend go to the principal's office and volunteer to reduce your daughter's GPA by 1.5 points and increase her friends by 1.5 points. So, they both get 2.5 GPAs. Even though your daughter works harder she gets the same grades as her friend.

Lastly, if McCain is elected we are talking 4 years, 8 at most. Our form of government will not deviate from the original intentions. If Obama is elected we are talking about formative government changes that may not be able to be undone, or may take several decades/generations to undo. Most elections don't dramatically effect your kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. If he is elected you are putting them into his system of government. You are not allowing them to have the same opportunities for liberty, life, and the pursuit of happiness that you've been afforded.
